Funky Buddha – November Beer of the Month

Funky Buddha Brewery was founded in 2010 in Boca Raton, Florida. They create big, bold flavors, made exactingly with natural ingredients. For example, if they say a beer will taste like peanut butter and jelly, you can be sure you’ll smell and taste the fresh roasted peanuts and fruity berry jam. Their flagship beers are Hop Gun IPA and Floridian Hefeweizen.

Funky Buddha Brewery is located in the heart of Oakland Park’s new Culinary Arts District. The 54,000 sq-ft facility is powered by a 30-barrel, three-piece brewhouse, which feeds nearly 35,000 BBLs of capacity, making them South Florida’s largest craft microbrewery. Each of their distinctive beers are brewed using the finest, all-natural ingredients.

Funky Buddha got their start at The Funky Buddha Lounge & Brewery. It’s their brewpub, where they also serve hookahs and craft beers from all over the world, and host live music. The Brewery is the manufacturing facility and taproom, located in Oakland Park, Florida. They distribute beers made at the Brewery all across South Florida, but beers brewed at the Lounge are only served at the Lounge.

Because they are brewing their flagship beers – like Hop Gun and Floridian – at Funky Buddha Brewery, the Lounge operates as a test kitchen of sorts. Their brewers use it to create experimental batches and new recipes, each served only on site!

At our DeLand location, we currently have Floridian Wheat and On Top Blonde Ale on draft.

At our New Smyrna Beach location, we offer Floridian Wheat and Blueberry Cobbler on tap.
