Full-time

Hiring for all locations; travel required. Prior experience in the hospitality industry preferred.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Implement productivity, quality and customer service standards.
  • Avoid legal challenges by enforcing alcohol regulations of the alcoholic beverage commission.
  • Ensure the smooth flow of the scheduled shift.
  • Work with and supervise FOH and BOH employees while maintaining required standards of the restaurant.
  • Schedule hourly employees.
  • Order and receive food and beverage deliveries.
  • Opening and closing of restaurant.
  • Watch and work within the restaurant budget.
  • Estimate and control food and beverage costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation, minimizing waste.

Must be 21 years of age and able to read, write and speak the primary language of the work site.

Must have a degree in hospitality management or five years on the job experience.

Must be able to work in excess of 8 hours day or 50 hours per week. Flexible schedule required.

Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds of weight.

  • Prepares items for broiling, roasting, frying or sauteing, by portioning, seasoning, bread or batter, prepare pan sauces and garnishes.
  • Cooks, plates and garnishes items as appropriate and directed in the recipe book.
  • Maintains a safe, clean and sanitary workstation and kitchen at all times.
  • Complies with policy on stock rotation and labeling in storerooms and walk-in, as well as other policies set forth by management.

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One + years of experience in food preparation position.
  • Must have knowledge and understanding of quality food preparation techniques and standards.
  • Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
  • Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
  • Ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized.
  • Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.
  • Ability to speak, read and understand the English language.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.

General

  • Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times.
  • Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance.
  • Is polite, friendly, and helpful to members and their guests, management and fellow employees.
  • Complies with required safety regulations and procedures.
